From Fort Lauderdale to Charlotte, North Carolina, where he worked with No Grease Barbershop at two of their flagship stores. Let It Flo is inspired by and named after his grandmother, Florine.
Tim Doe grew up in Fort Lauderdale and started cutting hair on his friends. He went to college first, then barber school, and spent years at No Grease Barbershop in Charlotte, North Carolina — first behind the chair, then leading two of their flagship stores, and eventually opening one of his own as the company’s second franchise owner.
He came to Columbia for family, and opened this shop downtown. He named it after his grandmother, Florine — everyone called her Flo.
What that means for you is simple. Good light, warm towels, and a barber who takes his time. Nobody here is rushing you out of the chair.
